Position Summary

The Document Controls Specialist manages and maintains the integrity of controlled documents across Accelevation’s manufacturing operations in Miamisburg, Ohio. This role ensures compliance with ISO 9000 standards and supports quality assurance initiatives by overseeing document lifecycle processes—including creation, revision, distribution, and archival. The specialist collaborates with cross‑functional teams to keep documentation accurate, accessible, and aligned with regulatory and operational requirements. This is an onsite role

Key Responsibilities
  • Administer and maintain the document control system, ensuring compliance with ISO 9000 certification requirements.
  • Manage document workflows, including creation, review, approval, revision, and obsolescence.
  • Ensure proper version control and traceability of all controlled documents.
  • Coordinate with engineering, quality, and operations teams to ensure timely updates and distribution of documentation.
  • Conduct periodic audits of document control processes and support internal and external quality audits.
  • Train employees on document control procedures and systems.
  • Maintain records of training, certifications, and compliance documentation.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives related to documentation and quality systems.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience in document control within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
  • Proven experience supporting ISO 9000 or other quality management system certifications.
  • Proficiency in document management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Quality Management, or related field preferred.
