Wheeled Vehicle Mechanic – U.S. Army (Entry-Level, No Experience Needed)

The U.S. Army is hiring Wheeled Vehicle Mechanics to supervise and perform maintenance and recovery operations on wheeled vehicles, trailers, and select armored vehicles. This entry‑level role plays a vital part in keeping Army vehicles operational and mission‑ready. No prior experience needed.
What You’ll Do:- Maintain wheeled vehicles, trailers, and material handling equipment systems.
- Inspect, service, repair, replace, adjust, and test vehicle components and systems.
- Service automotive electrical systems, including wiring harnesses, starters, and charging systems.
- Perform wheeled vehicle recovery operations.
Skills:
- Interest in auto mechanics and industrial arts.
- Enjoy physical work.
- Troubleshooting and repairing mechanical problems.
- Interest in automotive engines and how they work.
- Pay: $40,000–$80,000 per year.
- Bonuses:
Up to $40,000 cash bonus depending on qualifications. - Housing provided at no cost.

- Education:
15 semester hours of college paid per year plus 100% paid college tuition.
