Attention all Physician Assistants: we invite you to partner with us as independent contractors providing services to our Military Service members.
We primarily work weekends, with occasional weekdays, in the State of _________ on an "as needed" basis.
Under the Reserve Health Readiness Program (RHRP), we provide health readiness services to meet the medical and dental requirements for maintaining a deployable military force for the following branches:
- U.S. Army Reserve (USAR)
- Army National Guard (ARNG)
- U.S. Navy Reserve (USNR)
- U.S. Marine Forces Reserve (MARFORRES)
- U.S. Coast Guard Reserve (USCGR)
- Air National Guard (ANG)
- U.S. Air Force Reserve (USAFR)
Responsibilities:
- Support physical health assessments of military personnel.
- Review health histories, service member medical records, and questionnaires.
- Interview military personnel to assess current and prior medical concerns.
- Identify urgent concerns, including behavioral health issues.
- Document interview results for readiness classification using a proprietary system.
Requirements:
- Supervising Physician may be required depending on state regulations.
- Active PA license in the state.
- CPR/BLS Certification.
- Experience with primary care, urgent care, or occupational health is preferred.
- Experience with mobile medical services is preferred.
- Knowledge of military systems, protocols, and terminology is preferred.
- Ability to work in fast-paced environments with high volumes of service members.
- Able to work extended hours and travel, including weekends.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Basic computer skills.
- No requirement to diagnose, treat, or prescribe medications.
