- Assist in developing and carrying out analytics projects to support business goals, such as sales forecasting, market segmentation, and customer insights.
- Research industry trends, economic indicators, and market activities to help identify opportunities for the company.
- Learn how to track and measure key performance indicators (KPIs) that show how the business is performing.
- Use data analysis and visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) along with AI-based tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Grok) to explore large datasets from sources like Salesforce, Dynamics, and market research platforms.
- Help maintain and improve predictive models to forecast sales trends and customer behavior.
- Present findings to team members in clear, easy-to-understand formats.
- Work closely with sales, marketing, and product teams to help improve campaigns, pricing strategies, and customer retention efforts.
- Support the Finance team by providing analytics that align with budgeting and revenue planning.
- Collaborate with IT and data teams to keep analytics tools accurate, reliable, and easy to use.
- Assist in creating dashboards, reports, and visualizations that track business performance.
- Help ensure reports are accurate, up to date, and delivered on time to the right people.
- Look for opportunities to make processes faster and more efficient using automation, AI, and better data integration.
- Stay informed on the latest analytics tools and industry best practices to help the team improve.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (or related field).
- 0–2 years’ experience in Engineering, analytics, business intelligence, or data science (internships, academic projects, or relevant coursework welcome).
- Exposure to industries like industrial controls, electrical/electronic distribution, process controls, or industrial technology is a plus.
- Basic knowledge of analytics tools (e.g., SQL, Python, or SAS) and data visualization platforms (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
- Understanding of CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, Dynamics).
- Familiarity with AI tools, machine learning concepts, or big data frameworks is an advantage.
- Strong communication skills to explain insights to non-technical audiences.
- Problem-solving mindset and attention to detail.
- Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-changing environment.
- Ability to work well in a team and build positive working relationships.
- Experience with statistical modeling or AI-driven analytics.
- Knowledge of market research methods or competitive analysis.
- Awareness of data privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA).
