The

Opportunity

We’re hiring a Field Operations Manager to lead on-site operations for a transformative multi-billion dollar data center project. Acting as General Contractor, Developer, and Owner’s Representative, this firm is orchestrating a mission‑critical ground‑up build that demands precision, safety, and innovation. You’ll oversee field execution from site prep to commissioning, managing teams, subs, and logistics in a high‑stakes, tech‑driven environment. Perfect for autonomous field experts with 5+ years leading large‑scale industrial sites—take charge of a landmark project, drive excellence, and make a lasting impact with direct decision‑maker access.

Field

Operations & Site Management
  • Lead daily site execution for the data center, coordinating with superintendents, subcontractors, labor, and stakeholders from preconstruction through closeout.
  • Manage logistics, including site setup, equipment deployment, material deliveries, and critical infrastructure (power, cooling, networking).
  • Enforce stringent safety standards, compliance with codes, permits, environmental regulations, and data center redundancies.
  • Conduct site inspections, toolbox talks, and progress reviews to keep schedules on track and resolve issues proactively.
  • Oversee commissioning, testing, and handover, ensuring operational readiness with zero downtime.
  • Act as the primary field liaison for owners, developers, subs, and vendors; host weekly site meetings to align stakeholders.
  • Mentor assistant supers, foremen, and field crews; foster collaborative, high‑performing teams.
  • Manage subcontractor performance, scope adherence, and on‑site coordination to meet milestones.
Risk Mitigation & Operational Excellence
  • Identify and address field risks early (e.g., supply chain, tech integration, weather), collaborating with PMs and design teams.
  • Support scheduling with 3‑week lookaheads, critical path tracking, and variance reporting.
  • Maintain detailed documentation in construction management software (e.g., daily logs, RFIs, progress photos, safety reports).
Project‑Specific Focus
  • Oversee data center‑specific elements like raised flooring, advanced HVAC, electrical redundancies, and sustainable features.
  • Align field efforts with GC, developer, and owner’s rep goals to optimize cost, timeline, and quality on this multi‑billion dollar build.
What You’ll Bring
  • Bachelor’s in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field—or equivalent field experience.
  • 5+ years in field operations/superintendent roles on industrial/commercial projects ($100M+); data center or mission‑critical experience preferred.
  • Expertise in site safety, logistics, MEP systems, BIM coordination, and subcontractor management.
  • Proven ability to deliver complex projects on time/budget in fast‑paced settings.
  • Strong communicator with a team‑oriented mindset; skilled in mentoring diverse crews.
  • Proficient in field tools/software (e.g., Procore, Bluebeam, MS Project); knowledge of data center standards (e.g., Uptime Institute tiers).
  • Competitive Compensation
    :
Top‑tier salary, performance bonuses, and project incentives benchmarked to national markets.
  • Financial Security
    : 401(k) matching; potential profit‑sharing in a growth‑driven firm.
  • Time Off
    :
Generous PTO, holidays, and field‑friendly flexibility.
  • Growth & Culture
    :
Mentorship, professional development, and leadership on high‑profile projects in an inclusive, team‑focused environment.

This is your shot to lead a multi‑billion dollar data center that’s redefining the industry.
