My client is a well-established global manufacturer seeking a Night Shift Maintenance Technician II to support high-volume operations in a unionized facility. This role is critical to plant uptime and performance, requiring hands-on troubleshooting, mechanical repair, and facility maintenance expertise.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair production machinery
• Perform mechanical and general building repairs (plumbing, electrical, structural)
• Read schematics and blueprints; work with precision tools
• Execute fabrication and welding tasks (stick, MIG, brazing, torch)
• Support safety, 5S, and lean practices across facility maintenance
• Respond to off-hours emergencies and shift equipment needs

About You

• Be able to do the job as described
• 2-year technical degree + 3–5 years experience OR 7+ years of proven industrial maintenance experience
• Mechanical aptitude with machine repair and fabrication skills
• Able to read logic prints and schematics
• Basic electrical knowledge a plus
• Proficient with precision measuring instruments and Microsoft Office
• Dependable, safety-focused, and flexible with overtime and on-call needs
• Capable of lifting up to 80 lbs and working in physical environments
