* Position Summary:

** The Team Leader is responsible for supervising and coordinating the daily activities of production line staff to ensure efficient, high-quality manufacturing operations. The role involves overseeing production processes, maintaining safety and quality standards, and supporting team performance and development.

*** Supervise, lead, and coordinate a team of production operators or technicians.
* Ensure daily production targets and quality standards are met.
* Monitor workflow and adjust manpower or machine assignments as needed.
* Train and mentor team members on standard operating procedures (SOPs), safety protocols, and equipment usage.
* Enforce health and safety regulations and promote a safe working environment.
* Maintain accurate production records and prepare shift reports.
* Communicate effectively with other departments (maintenance, quality, logistics) to ensure smooth operations.
* Identify process inefficiencies and suggest improvements.
* Conduct regular team meetings and performance reviews.
* Ensure equipment and tools are properly maintained and calibrated.
* Support continuous improvement and lean manufacturing initiatives.

* Experience:

*** Previous experience in manufacturing or production is an advantage

Competencies:

*** Experience working under Lean Manufacturing or 5S principles
* Strong understanding of production processes, safety standards, and quality control
* Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities
* Proficient in using basic computer applications (MS Office, ERP systems).

Physical Requirements:

*** Manufacturing floor environment: exposure to noise, grease, heat, and moving machinery
* May require shift work, weekends, or overtime based on production demands
* PPE required (gloves, safety glasses, steel-toe boots, etc.)
* Ability to lift and carry up to [e.g., 25 lbs]
