American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a PACU/Recovery Room position requiring 5+ years of experience and flexibility across all patient age groups.
Requirements- Active RN license (IN or Compact) required
- 5+ years of recent experience required
- PACU experience required
- Flexible, team-player personality fit
- Work in the Post Anesthesia/Recovery Room (PACU) unit of a hospital setting
- 10-bed unit with a 2:1 patient ratio
- Patient population includes all ages, including pediatrics
- Uses defibrillator, ultrasound for blocks, and Phillips monitors (no ventilator in unit)
- Epic EMR used
- Monday-Friday rotating shifts, starting between 6:30am-10am depending on surgery schedule
- Weekend shifts are call-only
- Call requirement of 5-6 shifts per month, covering weekdays 7pm-7am or weekends 7am-7am
- No floating required
- Provide post-anesthesia recovery care across a variety of surgical cases
- Ceil blue scrubs provided
- First day consists of orientation
- Must reside within a 50-mile radius to qualify for the standard travel bill rate; local candidates accepted at a reduced rate
