Job SummaryPerforms the receipt of incoming goods and/or shipments of finished goods in compliance with established procedures. Provide administrative support to the warehouse leadership team.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Routine duties of checking in drivers, review Bill of Lading, verify trailer seals, schedule appointments, maintain shipping and/or receiving documentation, reconcile receipt information, and maintain daily reports
- Ability to drive a forklift (preferred but not required)
- Prepares orders by processing shipments and sample orders; packing boxes; staging orders in delivery area
- Verify that the goods are intact and report any defects.
- Completes receipt and delivery of parcel packages to order requestor(s)
- Maintains safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, pallet area, and workstations neat; maintaining clean shipping supply area; complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
- Communicate and cooperate with Supervisors and coworkers.
- Other duties as assigned

- While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be regularly required to sit, stand, bend, reach and move about the facility
- Candidates should be able to adapt to a traditional warehouse environment
- May be required to lift and carry up to 50 pounds and comply with OSHA standards
- Frequent exposure to shop elements such as noise, dust, fumes, and odors
- Safety glasses, facemasks and hairnets (where applicable) may be required while performing a specific task
Read, write and speak English. Able to communicate and take direction from lead/supervisor/manager.
Education and/or ExperienceHigh School diploma or General Education Degree (GED); or six to twelve months related work experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
