Bookkeeper - Iron River Area

Salary Range: $51,000 - $72,000 depending on experience

This posting covers Bookkeeper opportunities with manufacturers based in and around Iron River in Iron County, within about 45 minutes of the city, including Amasa and Crystal Falls.

We partner with manufacturers across the Iron River area seeking Bookkeepers who want more than a lateral move. These companies hire intentionally, and we connect them with professionals ready for roles that fit.

• Record daily financial transactions in the accounting system.
• Reconcile bank and credit card statements each month.
• Process accounts payable and accounts receivable.
• Prepare invoices and track customer payments.
• Maintain the general ledger and chart of accounts.
• Assist with monthly close and basic financial reports.
• Track inventory costs and job cost records.
• Organize receipts and supporting documents for audits.

• Prior bookkeeping experience, ideally in manufacturing or a related industry.
• Working knowledge of accounting software such as Quick Books or ERP systems.
• Understanding of double-entry accounting and general ledger work.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy with numbers.
• Proficiency with spreadsheets for tracking and reconciliation.
• Associate degree in accounting, finance, or a related field, or equivalent experience.

• Exposure to ERP systems used in manufacturing environments.
• Certified Bookkeeper (CB) credential.
• Experience supporting month-end and year-end close.
• Experience with job costing or inventory accounting.
• Familiarity with payroll processing and related filings.
