Express Lane Lube Technician - Szott Auto
Full-Time | $35,000.00 - $45,000.00 Yearly
Szott I 96 CDJR is currently seeking highly motivated and reliable Lube Technician to join our team. As a Lube Technician to join our dynamic service team. You will be responsible for performing routine maintenance on vehicles, such as oil changes, fluid checks, tire rotations, and other basic services. We are looking for individuals who will represent our brand, embrace our amazing culture, and help create lifetime customers.

Responsibilities:
- Document and perform work as outlined on repair order following all dealership and factory standards
- Drain oil from crankcase and refill with required amount of oil; replace oil and air filters
- Inspect vehicle fluid levels and replace or replenish as necessary
- Check tire pressure and add air if needed
- Communicate with parts department to obtain needed parts
- Keep shop area neat and clean
- Maintain accountability for all dealership-owned tools and manuals
- Operate all tools and equipment in a safe manner
- Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership standards
- Work along side seasoned technicians to continue growing your knowledge of the brands we service
- Communicate directly with the Service Advisor so that customers are well-informed of any additional services needed
- Provide an estimate of time needed for additional repairs
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a similar role is required
- Basic knowledge of automotive systems and maintenance.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Punctual and reliable
- Basic computer skills
