Thermo Analytics, Inc., a leading provider of thermal and infrared simulation software and services, seeks a Chief Product Officer to join their growing team in either Novi, Michigan or Calumet, Michigan
. This full-time role offers opportunity for a hybrid remote schedule, with weekly onsite/in-office hours.
The Chief Product Officer (CPO) owns our product vision, strategy, and execution, with accountability for transforming the product portfolio into a coherent, profitable, scalable software business. The CPO will drive product innovation, market differentiation, customer value, and sustainable growth in annual recurring revenue (ARR) and net revenue retention (NRR) while supporting the company’s services business. As a member of the executive team, the CPO leads Product Management, Product Operations, Research, and Business Development, partnering closely with Software Development, Engineering, Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, Finance, and Operations to deliver strong customer and shareholder value.

- Product Strategy & Growth: Define and execute a 12 – 24-month product roadmap tied to company objectives, financial targets, innovation, differentiation, and sustainable growth.
- Product Organization: Build and lead a high-performing product organization capable of managing multiple integrated products across key markets and sectors.
- Cross-Functional Execution: Align product priorities with engineering capacity and commercial objectives, including monetization, packaging, pricing, adoption, and key-account support.
- Market & Customer Insight: Use competitive intelligence, customer data, win/loss analysis, and churn drivers to prioritize investments and shape product strategy.
- Operating Discipline: Establish product operating mechanisms—including discovery cadences, quarterly business reviews, roadmap reviews, and performance metrics to improve execution predictability and speed.
- Revenue & Retention: Own product-led growth metrics, including product revenue, retention, customer satisfaction, and quality.
- Go-to-Market: Partner with Sales and Marketing to define target markets, customers, value propositions, positioning, and GTM strategy while eliminating underperforming offerings.
- Sales Alignment: Establish disciplined processes for balancing near‑term deal opportunities with long‑term product strategy.
- Ecosystem & Monetization: Strengthen integration with customers' CAE and PLM environments and optimize B2B pricing models to increase product sales and annual contract value.
- Enterprise Readiness: Ensure product requirements support SOC 2, GDPR, and other enterprise security standards.
- Customer Engagement: Establish and lead a Customer Advisory Board representing the company’s highest‑value customers.
- An outcome- and revenue-focused product roadmap, rather than a feature-driven backlog.
- Improved NRR and reduced churn through higher-impact product enhancements and stronger onboarding.
