  • Shoot, write, edit and report compelling lifestyle and community stories.
  • Conduct engaging interviews both in studio and in the field.
  • Develop original content showcasing the people, places, businesses, food, entertainment, nonprofits and experiences that make the St. Louis region unique.
  • Pitch fresh, creative and timely story ideas and help shape future Show Me St. Louis programming.
  • Generate fun, creative and content-driven live shots and field segments.
  • Work professionally and collaboratively with advertising clients and community partners to turn their ideas into compelling television.
  • Create content for broadcast, digital and social platforms.
  • Maintain an active and professional social media presence while finding new ways to engage with viewers.
  • Use photography and editing tools to create polished, visually engaging stories.
  • Contribute to sponsored content, station initiatives, special programming and community events.
  • Collaborate with producers, photographers, sales teams and other departments to execute content across platforms.
  • Manage multiple stories and projects while consistently meeting deadlines.
Requirements

  • Strong on-camera presence with an authentic, approachable personality.
  • Strong interviewing, writing and storytelling skills.
  • Experience shooting and editing video.
  • Ability to independently take a story from idea to finished product.
  • Comfortable working with advertising clients, local businesses, nonprofits and community organizations.
  • Creative thinker who understands how to make lifestyle content informative, entertaining and visually compelling.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to perform under tight deadlines.
  • Experience in creating content for social and digital platforms.
