Dental Assistant PT; REVISED

Overview

This is a Part‑Time Dental Assistant role at 42 North Dental. The Dental Assistant provides clinical support to facilitate the relationship between patrons and dentists, increases the efficiency of delivering quality dental care, and maintains communication between dentists, patients, and administrative staff to ensure a positive patient experience.

• Greet and prepare patients for treatment
• Provide chairside assistance during a variety of dental procedures
• Expose radiographs and intra‑oral pictures
• Provide post‑operative instructions and patient education
• Prepare, disassemble, disinfect and sterilize treatment rooms and instruments
• Maintain strict compliance with infection control, CDC, OSHA, and HIPAA standards
• Maintain dental supply inventory
• Perform other related job duties as assigned
• Demonstrate strong teamwork, as provider assignments may change depending on practice needs

• Knowledge of dental procedures and terminology
• Dental Assistant Certificate (C.D.A.) preferred
• Possess required certifications, licensure, or registration as required by state
