Shift: Average of 2 patients per shift, with a mix of general surgery and trauma cases Call Requirements:

Certification:
Board Eligible or Board Certified in General Surgery; trauma surgery fellowship preferred Licensure:
Must be licensed in Michigan Certifications Needed: ACLS, ATLS, BLS Additional

Skills:

Proficiency in various surgical procedures, including but not limited to:
General and Trauma Surgery Laparoscopic surgery (appendectomy, cholecystectomy, hernioplasty, Nissen fundoplication) Chest wall/pleural procedures, breast surgery GI endoscopy (upper and lower) Vascular access, chest tube, and central line insertion Minor orthopedics and hand surgery Pediatric surgery capabilities are advantageous but not required Facility Information:
