Title: ER Physician (MD/DO) for L'Anse, MI (Locum)

Responsibilities:

• Shift Length: 12-48 hour shift length maximum
• Patient Volume: 4000 patients/year; 8-10 Inpatients/day
• Electronic Medical Records (EMR):
  Evident/CPSI
• Trauma Level: IV

Qualifications/Requirements

• License: MI
• DEA:
  Required
• Board Certification: EM, IM, FP
• Life Supports: ACLS, BLS, PALS. Certs do not have to be specific to AHA.
• Covid/Flu Vaccination:
  Flu vaccine or declination required, covid not required, hepB required, MMR titer (shot not required) required, Tdap required, TB preferred

Schedule and Duration:

• 2 FT providers cover 7 days on/7 days off
• Weekdays 7a-7p:
  Provider rounds on patients and then manes Urgent Care starting at 12-12:30p and will support ER, if needed, but rare. Clinic covers UC until Hospitalist available following rounding.
• Hospitalist rounds on inpatients on Saturday and Sunday (3-4 hours) followed by 2-3 hours in Urgent Care
• ER covers Inpatient coverage on night shift
