Surgical cases are performed at My Michigan Medical Center Alpena and West Branch with offices located directly on campus, making it convenient for both staff and patients alike. My Michigan Medical Center Alpena is a 139-bed medical center located by the beautiful Lake Huron and My Michigan Medical Center West Branch is an 80-bed medical center located in the Gateway to the North right off of I-75.

Full time BC/BE experienced neurosurgeon or graduating resident or fellow. Preferably a neurosurgeon interested in spine.

The ideal candidate will have excellent clinical and technical skills with experience in the latest neurosurgical techniques. The recruitment focus is in operative general neurosurgery, specifically spine.

Active recruitment is being launched to support growth in the neurosurgical service line. Lengthening wait times, increased demand for functional neurosurgery and the need for additional coverage are key drivers in launching a search for an addition to the neurosurgery department. This is also a new area to provide this coverage from My Michigan Health.
