Job Requirements:

• Board Certification: Orthopedic Surgeon (no BE)
• License: MI license and MI CSR at time of submission (Preferred)
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS (Required)
• EMR Experience: Cerner EMR experience (Preferred)
• Background: Clean Background (Required for emergency privileging)
• Malpractice Insurance: Must be included in the daily/hourly rates

Job Description:

Are you ready to elevate your career as an Orthopedic Surgeon in a dynamic and diverse healthcare environment? We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Orthopedic Surgeon for a locum tenens position in Michigan. In this role, you will provide comprehensive orthopedic care to patients in both inpatient and outpatient settings.

Assignment Details:

We are looking for candidates who are currently licensed in Michigan and can commit to providing coverage for 2 weeks per month, starting from December 1, 2023. While we prefer candidates who can cover the entire 2-week period, we are also open to considering two candidates to provide one week of coverage each. The assignment will include 24-hour call coverage, as well as 10 clinic hours per week from Monday to Friday.

We require candidates with a clean background record and minimal to no malpractice history. Board certification in Orthopedic Surgery is mandatory, and candidates must hold current BLS and ACLS certifications. Experience with the Cerner EMR system is preferred but not required.
