Seeking a Gastroenterology physician for inpatient coverage during the holiday period in South Georgia.
- Role:
Provide comprehensive inpatient gastroenterology services on a 24-hour shift basis, including weekend call duties. - Responsibilities:
Conduct daily hospital rounds, manage emergency consultations, and handle 5-10 patient consultations daily. Perform procedures such as colonoscopy, EGD/Upper scopes, enteroscopy, and flexible sigmoidoscopy; ERCP experience preferred. - Qualifications:
Board certification required. Experience with essential gastroenterology procedures. Ability to work on-site and manage adult patient cases.
Collaborate with nursing staff, medical assistants, and administrative team. Support includes handling emergency and routine cases with a focus on quality patient care.
