This facility maintains the clinical infrastructure necessary to support interventional radiology and diagnostic imaging service delivery within an established procedural radiology environment. The facility operates with a multidisciplinary team that includes a manager and two APPs supporting a group of three Interventional Radiologists. Clinical operations are structured to accommodate day shift and call-based coverage on an on-site basis.
About the Facility LocationMichigan offers a range of outdoor and cultural attractions suited to varied interests. Clinicians on assignment may explore destinations such as Sleeping Bear Dunes, Pictured Rocks, Mackinac Island, and Presque Isle Park, alongside historic sites such as Greenfield Village, which spans over 80 acres and features landmarks connected to Thomas Edison, the Wright brothers, and Henry Ford. The state's trail networks support activities such as hiking, fishing, and winter sports, while areas such as Grand Rapids provide live music across 100-plus venues.
Natural features such as Kitch-iti-kipi freshwater spring and the Upper Peninsula's lakes and wilderness offer additional opportunities for exploration throughout the state.
The interventional/diagnostic radiologist will provide on-site day shift coverage with call responsibilities, operating on a Q3 call schedule - every third weekday and every third weekend. The clinician will manage an average of 8 cases per day, performing interventional radiology procedures including angioplasty, stent placement, embolization, needle biopsy, and uterine fibroid embolization (UFE). Call coverage is a required component of this assignment, and the clinician will be expected to respond to cases as they arise during assigned coverage periods.
Board certification is required for consideration.
