Overview
After School Program Instructor at YMCA of Columbia-Willamette, Sherwood, OR. Part-time position.
What would you be doing?- Provide a safe environment for learning.
- Implement curriculum for a variety of enrichment classes.
- Establish good rapport with parents and participants.
- Be a positive role model for youth in the program.
- Collaborate with volunteers to lead delegation.
- Transport equipment to and from school sites.

- Flexible working hours (part time - up to 29 hrs/week) based on your availability
- Must pass YMCA background check
- Availability Mon-Thursday between 2:00-5:00pm
- Possess (or obtain within 90 days) a current CPR/AED & First Aid Certification
- Experience working with children in a classroom setting
- Visual and auditory ability to respond to critical incidents and the physical ability to act swiftly in an emergency situation
- Ability to adequately observe participant activities, enforce safety regulations and apply appropriate management techniques
- Must have reliable transportation
- Salary: $17/hr
