. Ashley Hall is seeking qualified candidates for the substitute teaching pool for the  school year. Of particular need are substitute teachers with experience in the following areas:
Nurses - Health Center;
Early School;
Lower School;
Middle School;
High School.

Ashley Hall substitutes provide their availability upon hire, giving them the flexibility to set days and times that work into their schedule. Lesson plans are provided by faculty. Lunch and parking are provided at no cost to substitutes by Ashley Hall.

• Following lesson plans provided by the regular Teacher to create a cohesive and consistent learning experience for students
• Managing the classroom effectively to encourage student participation, minimize distractions and maintain a positive learning environment
• Adapting teaching methods to fit the needs of each individual student
• Covering regular Teachers additional duties supervising students in and out of the classroom, including duties such as drop off, lunch, and pick up
• Providing in-class and at-home assignments based on the available lesson plan
• For long-term substitutes: developing lesson plans and assignments consistent with the regular teacher s past lesson plans

• Minimum requirements include a Bachelor s degree for all levels except Early School; a copy of transcripts may be required
• Criminal background checks, drug screening and a TB test are required

• Lunch and parking are provided; substitutes set their availability at hire
• Lesson plans are provided by faculty
