Imlay City Schools is seeking a part-time band director at Borland Elementary School for Fifth Grade. Candidates should have a valid Michigan teaching certificate (JX) and experience teaching beginning brass wind and percussion instruments. The ideal candidate is a team player, possesses excellent communication skills, and is self-directed.
The Fifth Grade Band Director will be responsible for scheduling parent meetings, communicating with students, teachers, and parents, organizing one concert per semester, and holding practices each morning before school.
The stipend for this position is $6,000.
