EFFECTIVE DATE: 2025/2026 School Year
HOURS: 2-4 hours per day on all student days
DESCRIPTION: The office monitor works in the office during student lunch/recess time assisting as necessary while also allowing secretaries the time for a lunch break.
QUALIFICATIONS- High School graduate.
- Must have desire to work with early elementary aged children.
- Is tactful, pleasant, professional, and courteous at all times.
- Is able to get along well with a wide variety of people and work as a team player.
- Maintains confidentiality regarding students and staff.
- Is certified or willing to become certified in basic first aid and CPR.
- Must be dependable and have excellent attendance.
- Basic computer skills and knowledge of standard office equipment.
- Is able to be self-directive in organizing and accomplishing office work priorities.
- Able to exhibit patience and maintain a positive attitude while working with students.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Cares for sick and injured students.
- Assists with the dispensing of medicine to students.
- Receives incoming calls, takes accurate messages, and makes phone calls to parents as necessary.
- Greets parents and visitors to building.
- Other duties as assigned.
SALARY: $13.87 - $16.39 per hour; commensurate with experience
