St Hugo of the Hills Catholic School is seeking a Full-Time Kindergarten Aide for the 2025-26 school year. St. Hugo is a faith-based community dedicated to bringing Jesus into our students’ lives through exceptional academics and rich faith experiences. We are looking for an innovative, energetic, faith-filled individual who is passionate about engaging students and challenging them to meet their potential.

The ideal candidate should possess the ability to assist the Kindergarten teacher in providing students with strong and exceptional foundational skills through active and differentiated instruction while preparing them for the rigor of first grade.

At least one year of experience as a Preschool or Kindergarten Aide.

• Create an environment where Jesus is at the center of all learning and interactions, and the school vision is practiced.

• Prepare materials for daily lessons and projects.
Work with teacher to organize and manage student class work, projects, etc.
• Monitor students during whole group and small group instruction, and assist students in staying on task, individual learning assistance, etc.
• Monitor students during assessments and independent work times.
• Assist students with art projects/crafts.
• Work with students in small groups to support student success.
• Assist in monitoring student behavior and conflict resolution.
• Assist with classroom maintenance – recycle bins, wiping off student tables, sharpening pencils, wiping up spills, etc.
• Take students to all specials classes and lunch.
• Work as a member of a supportive faculty.
• Collaborate with teacher and colleagues on a regular basis.
• Provide a caring and nurturing classroom environment where students feel safe to learn and grow academically, socially and spiritually.
