POSITION: Paraprofessional Classroom Aides - Elementary Buildings, Multiple vacancies
HOURS: 28 Hrs per week
PREFERENCES:
- Must have had experience working with children K-5
- Must possess the ability to work as a member of a team
- Must meet requirements of NCLB (Highly Qualified)
- Must have passed or have the ability to pass Para Pro test or have an associate’s degree or 60 hours of credit at an approved College or University.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Comprehensive knowledge of emergent reading, writing, math, social studies and science
- Ability to work effectively with a diverse cultural, racial and socioeconomic student population
- Skills in using computers to word process and the ability to demonstrate and help young students use the internet
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Must work well with young children
SALARY: Per the Non-Certified Staff Scale
