In This Position, You Will Have the Opportunity To- Perform data collection for analyzing VIPs and manufacturing process efficiency
- Research the development of equipment performance goals and standards
- Research, analyze and recommend methods and processes to improve safety, cycle time, labor hours, scrap, product quality and output
- Complete required documents needed in closing Corrective Actions, Engineering Change Orders, and Customer Complaints
- Troubleshoot and assist in repairing fixtures and equipment used in manufacturing
- Perform project responsibilities as assigned for process changes, improvements and implementation of new product manufacturing processes
- Research, plan and recommend new tools, equipment, fixtures and methods including costs and cost estimates for process changes, improvements and implementation of new product manufacturing processes
- Develop and conduct test protocols and reports for equipment qualification and process validation
- Prepare proper documentation for processes related to equipment, maintenance, and other relevant procedures
- Partner with Quality team to address and resolve manufacturing or product quality issues
- Provide technical support to manufacturing technicians
- Provide floor support in circumstances when techs are not available and production is waiting to run
- Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering or closely related 4-year technical degree
- 5-7 years industry experience is strongly preferred
- Regulated industry experience that includes FDA and ISO requirements preferred
- Able to provide solutions to a variety of technical problems of moderate scope and complexity where analysis of situations or data require a review of a variety of factors
- Able to work under general direction from Supervisor or other Senior team members
- Aware of cultural differences that may exist in business and applies them effectively in global interactions
- Able to build productive internal and external working relationships
- Ability to lead projects within a multi-functional team with proven verbal and written communication skills
- Able to properly perform Risk Management using FMEAs
- Teamwork, communication, positive attitude required to support the manufacturing environment
- Problem Solving – able to perform root cause analysis and implement effective corrective actions
- Project Management – able to effectively manage and complete multiple projects simultaneously
- Experience in 3D modeling, “Solidworks” preferred
- Computer Skills – Excellent computer skills including but not limited to Microsoft Office Suite
- Mathematical Skills – able to work with concepts such as probability, statistical inference, geometry and trigonometry. Able to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations
