Key Responsibilities- Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on industrial robotic systems and automated equipment.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose complex mechanical, electrical, and software issues in robotic cells.
- Program and reprogram industrial robots for new tasks, path adjustments, and process optimization.
- Calibrate robotic arms and end-effectors to ensure precision and accuracy in manufacturing operations.
- Install, set up, and commission new robotic equipment and integrated automation solutions.
- Conduct routine inspections and performance testing of robotic systems to identify potential failures.
- Document maintenance activities, repair procedures, and system configurations accurately.
- Associate's degree in Robotics, Mechatronics, Industrial Automation, or a related technical field.
- Minimum 2-3 years of hands-on experience in troubleshooting, repair, and preventive maintenance of industrial robots (e.g., FANUC, ABB, KUKA).
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic schematics and blueprints.
- Strong understanding of PLC logic and controls for automated systems.
- Ability to perform teach pendant programming and adjustments for robot path, speed, and tooling.
- Experience with industrial vision systems (e.g., Cognex, Keyence).
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or C++ for advanced scripting and data analysis.
- Familiarity with CAD software (e.g., Solid Works, AutoCAD) for mechanical understanding and fixture design.
- Knowledge of industrial networking protocols (e.g., Ethernet/IP, Profinet).
