Salary Range: $62,000 - $95,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities
- Develop, write, and debug CMM inspection programs for various manufactured parts.
- Perform dimensional inspections of parts using CMMs to verify conformance to specifications.
- Generate and analyze detailed CMM inspection reports, communicating results effectively.
- Design and create appropriate fixturing for CMM measurement applications.
- Troubleshoot and resolve CMM program errors and measurement discrepancies.
- Ensure CMM programs and measurements comply with engineering drawings, GD&T, and quality standards.
- Participate in CMM calibration, validation, and routine preventative maintenance activities.
Recommended Qualifications
- Proficiency in CMM programming software (e.g., PC-DMIS, Calypso).
- Strong ability to read and interpret engineering blueprints and GD&T.
- Solid understanding of metrology principles and measurement techniques.
- Experience with CMM operation, setup, and fixture design.
- Demonstrated problem-solving and analytical skills for measurement challenges.
Bonus Qualifications
- ASME GD&T Professional Certification (GDTP)
- Proficiency with multiple CMM software platforms (e.g., PC-DMIS, Calypso, MCOSMOS)
- Experience with other metrology equipment such as laser scanners, vision systems, or portable CMMs
- Ability to perform basic CMM preventative maintenance and troubleshooting
