This role requires individuals to perform sampling and testing of a variety of soils and construction materials in the field and/or in the laboratory. They will be responsible for explaining and enforcing project specific specifications related to sampling and testing of construction materials; maintain and record logs of daily work and tests performed and time and materials expended. This role also requires time in the field providing inspection of construction operations and evaluation of the contractors work.
Qualifications- Dependable and trustworthy
- Ability to work extended hours outdoors in a variety of weather and site conditions
- Available to travel to out of town project sites
- Ability to work in a team environment
Certifications
- Michigan Concrete Technician – Level 1
- MDOT Density Technology Certification
- Radiation Safety Training (HAZMAT)
