Key Responsibilities- Install, configure, and calibrate industrial robots and robotic systems.
- Perform routine preventive maintenance and inspections on robotic equipment.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and software issues in robotic cells.
- Program and fine-tune robot movements, paths, and logic using teach pendants or software.
- Conduct performance testing and validation to ensure robots meet production standards.
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to optimize robot performance and processes.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance, repairs, and system modifications.
- Associate's degree or technical certificate in Robotics, Automation, Mechatronics, or a related engineering discipline.
- 2+ years of hands‑on experience with industrial robot programming, operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting (e.g., FANUC, KUKA, ABB).
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, and PLC ladder logic.
- Strong knowledge of industrial control systems, PLCs (e.g., Allen‑Bradley, Siemens), and HMI.
- Demonstrated ability to diagnose and repair complex electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
- Understanding and adherence to industrial safety protocols and best practices in a manufacturing environment.
- Advanced PLC programming experience (e.g., Siemens TIA Portal, Rockwell Studio 5000)
- Experience integrating and troubleshooting industrial vision systems (e.g., Cognex, Keyence)
- Proficiency in advanced robot programming languages (e.g., FANUC KAREL, ABB RAPID)
- Familiarity with CAD software for cell layout or fixture design
- Certifications in Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma methodologies
