Salary Range: $72,000 - $111,000 depending on experience

The OpportunityWe are collaborating with manufacturing firms in Ludington that are seeking skilled Manufacturing Engineers. Key Responsibilities- Develop, implement, and optimize manufacturing processes for efficiency, quality, and cost reduction.
- Design, procure, and maintain production tooling, fixtures, and equipment.
- Troubleshoot and resolve production issues, conducting root cause analysis and implementing corrective actions.
- Create and maintain detailed manufacturing documentation, including work instructions and process specifications.
- Lead New Product Introduction (NPI) activities, ensuring manufacturability and smooth production ramp-up.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives using Lean manufacturing principles to reduce waste and improve throughput.
- Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing, Mechanical, Industrial, or a related Engineering field.
- 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment, focusing on process optimization and efficiency.
- Proficiency with CAD software (e.g., Solid Works, AutoCAD) for tooling and fixture design.
- Demonstrated experience with Lean Manufacturing principles and Six Sigma methodologies.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills for root cause analysis and implementing corrective actions.
- Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification
- Proficiency with simulation software (e.g., Arena, Ansys, Solid Works Simulation)
- Experience with PLC programming or industrial robot integration
- Strong data analysis skills using tools like Python, R, or SQL
