Key Responsibilities- Develop and manage annual budgets and periodic financial forecasts for manufacturing operations.
- Conduct detailed variance analysis of production costs, COGS, and overhead against budgets and forecasts.
- Analyze product profitability, standard costs, and provide insights for cost reduction initiatives.
- Evaluate capital expenditure requests, performing ROI and payback period analysis for new equipment and projects.
- Prepare comprehensive financial reports and performance dashboards for manufacturing management.
- Support inventory valuation, obsolescence analysis, and working capital optimization efforts.
- Collaborate with operations to identify cost efficiencies and process improvements within the production cycle.
- Strong proficiency in financial modeling, forecasting, and variance analysis.
- Solid understanding of cost accounting principles (e.g., standard costing, COGS, inventory valuation).
- Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) for data extraction and reporting.
- Ability to analyze manufacturing operational data and translate it into financial insights.
- Advanced Excel skills and experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
- Experience with a major ERP system (e.g., SAP, Oracle) in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong understanding of cost accounting principles (e.g., standard costing, variance analysis) specific to manufacturing.
- Proficiency in data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) for presenting complex financial data.
- Exposure to Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma methodologies.
