Comerica Financial Advisors, a financial advisory practice of Ameriprise Financial Services, LLC, is seeking experienced Financial Advisors with a proven track record of business growth through referrals and other lead‑generation strategies.
Locations: Bloomfield Hills, MI | Grosse Pointe Woods, MI
To qualify: candidates must have an existing book of business with annual GDC exceeding $200K.
Flexibility: Work independently within your own network or be assigned to multiple Comerica Bank branches for referral opportunities.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver comprehensive financial planning and investment solutions to clients.
- Cultivate and maintain strong client relationships.
- Prepare and review financial plans for accuracy and compliance.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience (3+ years in financial services).
- Advanced degrees or professional designations (CFP®, CFA®).
- Established network of personal and professional contacts for referrals.
- Authorized to work in the U.S. (no visa sponsorship).
- Active regulatory licenses: FINRA Series 7;
State Securities (Series 63 or 66);
State IAR (Series 65 or 66);
State Life, Health Insurance & Variable Products. - Minimum 3 years of experience with a proven success record.
- Strong relationship‑building and client service skills.
- Ability to work independently while keeping leadership informed.
- Excellent financial, analytical, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Commitment to ongoing education and professional development.
