FP&A Manager

Location: Washington

We are looking for an experienced FP&A Senior or Manager to join the team in Washington, District of Columbia on a Contract basis. This interim opportunity is designed to provide coverage for an open position while supporting a critical budgeting cycle. The role will partner closely with business leaders to develop financial plans, evaluate spending assumptions, and deliver clear insight across key financial statements.

Responsibilities:
• Partner with department leaders to gather and validate forecasts for operating costs, capital needs, and workforce-related expenses.
• Lead the preparation and coordination of the upcoming budget cycle, ensuring timelines, inputs, and assumptions are aligned across functions.
• Perform financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and risks that may affect planning decisions and business performance.
• Use Anaplan to build, update, and manage budget models, planning inputs, and related reporting outputs.
• Provide guidance and insight on balance sheet activity and cash flow impacts as part of the broader planning process.
• Translate financial data into clear recommendations for stakeholders to support informed decision-making.
• Maintain accuracy and consistency across planning files, reports, and supporting documentation.
• Assist with finance-related projects and system-based budgeting activities as needed to support the organization’s planning objectives.
