Position: No Barrier Housing Pilot: Data & Resource Specialist – Clare Housing
Location: Clare

The Data & Resource Specialist has a critical role on this project team over the three-year pilot period of the program to ensure that processes, culturally specific modifications, and adherence to a low-barrier harm reduction model are documented. This role includes research into best practices and presenting real-time data about discrepancies between goals and actual outcomes, along with identification of resources to support the program long-term.

This position will perform qualitative data collection and analysis of a new pilot housing program in Minneapolis. The program is designed to provide “no-barrier” immediate housing to people with HIV/AIDS who are experiencing homelessness and using intravenous drugs. This position is funded through a three-year grant as part of an effort to find new promising practices in housing people with HIV/AIDS who face large obstacles to housing stability.

The Data & Resource Specialist will be embedded with the Clare Digs service team and with the individuals served by the program.

The Specialist role provides an opportunity to conduct original research and to shape the future of housing programs for people who face numerous obstacles. The position will require self-motivation, flexibility and follow-through. The Specialist will initiate a data collection process, launch an ongoing qualitative study, report outcomes in multiple formats/to multiple audiences, and find and apply for resources to support the program long-term.

The position is responsible for meeting all grant requirements related to data collection, model compliance, resource identification, and reporting as outlined in the grant agreements which may be subject to change.

This is a full-time hourly position at 40 hours per week with the requirement to be able to work at non-standard hours in order to fully understand and document the components of this 24/7 housing program. The hourly range is $24-28/hour. Benefits include Medical, Dental, Vision, 4% match of 403(b) retirement fund, four weeks of Paid Time Off in year one, and more.

The position is based on-site in South Minneapolis.
