• Provide language interpretation services for patients/families.
• Ensure patients/families understand each speaker’s message accurately.
• Replicate the register, style and tone of the speaker.
• Maintain objectivity and avoid personal bias.
• Adhere to National Council on Interpreting in Healthcare Standards of Practice and Code of Ethics.

• Bilingual in one of the following languages:
  Russian, Ukrainian or Spanish.
• Pass required bilingual fluency and conversation skills, and have knowledge of medical terminology and interpreting ethics.
• Maintain required certification or qualifications for medical interpreting.
• Demonstrate exemplary customer‑relation skills and professional demeanor.
• Maintain a high degree of confidentiality of information available within the department and hospital.

Munson Healthcare requires all employees to be vaccinated or have lab‑confirmed immunity for Measles, Mumps, Rubella and Varicella.
