As a Physical Therapist (PT) at North Country Orthopaedic Group, you'll be a key part of a dynamic healthcare team. You'll evaluate, plan, and implement treatment programs for patients with physical impairments or disabilities resulting from injury, disease, or surgery. This role is crucial for helping patients restore function, improve mobility, relieve pain, and prevent or limit permanent physical disabilities, helping them get back to doing what they love.

• Evaluate patients' physical conditions and functional limitations by conducting physical exams and reviewing their medical history.
• Develop individualized treatment plans in collaboration with medical providers and other healthcare professionals.
• Administer physical therapy interventions, including the use of specialized equipment.
• Monitor patient progress, modify treatment plans as needed, and maintain thorough documentation in accordance with all standards.
• Educate patients and their families on home exercise programs, safety, and techniques to improve function and independence.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to optimize patient care.
• Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations, organizational policies, and professional standards of care.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized treatment environment.
• Participate in performance improvement measures as an active learner.

• Education/Certification/Licensing:
  • Master's Degree, Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT), or equivalent from an accredited program.
  • Valid and current Physical Therapy license in New York State.
  • CPR certification (BLS for healthcare providers; AHA preferred).
• Experience:
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a healthcare team.
  • New graduates are welcome to apply.
  • Familiarity with the outpatient orthopedic setting is preferred.
