We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Direct Support Professional to join our team in Hillsdale, MI. The ideal candidate will provide support and assistance to individuals with disabilities in their daily activities, including personal care, meal preparation, and community outings. The Direct Support Professional will also help individuals develop life skills and achieve their personal goals.
Responsibilities:- Assist individuals with disabilities in daily activities, including personal care and meal preparation
- Provide emotional support and companionship to individuals
- Assist individuals in developing life skills and achieving personal goals
- Accompany individuals on community outings and appointments
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of services provided
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior experience working with individuals with disabilities preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
