MN Med Tech​/Caregiver

Homestead is looking for a Med Tech to join our team at Whispering Pines Senior Living Facility in Lake City, MI. The position involves administering medications and providing support to residents while maintaining a safe and compassionate environment. Competitive pay and growth opportunities are included.

• Assist residents with daily living activities such as transferring, bathing, dressing, toileting, and walking.
• Administer medications and injections according to physicians’ orders recorded in medical charts.
• Maintain cleanliness of the environment, including light housekeeping duties.
• Comply with all safety and health standards, including infection control procedures.
• Monitor residents’ conditions, promptly communicating changes to supervisors.
• Follow schedules and assist residents with repositioning.
• Accurately document medication administration procedures.
• Use good judgment when providing client care to ensure safety.
• Assist other team members with duties as needed.
• Respond to call lights and assess residents’ needs promptly.
• Obtain meal trays and assist with eating.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
