Job Summary

Quality Inn, Dundee, MI is currently seeking a motivated and customer service-oriented individual for the role of Front Desk at our hotel located in Dundee, MI. This is a full-time, individual contributor role in the hospitality/restaurant industry. The Front Desk is responsible for providing excellent guest service, managing reservations, and assisting with various administrative tasks to ensure the smooth operation of the hotel.

Responsibilities
  • Greet and welcome guests in a friendly and professional manner
  • Check guests in and out, ensuring all necessary paperwork and payment is completed accurately
  • Answer incoming phone calls and assist guests with inquiries and reservations
  • Keep track of room availability and make reservations according to guest preferences
  • Handle guest complaints and issues in a timely and efficient manner
  • Maintain a clean and organized front desk and lobby area
  • Process payments and maintain accurate financial records
  • Assist with administrative tasks, such as filing, data entry, and inventory management
  • Adhere to all company policies and procedures to ensure a positive guest experience
  • Collaborate with other hotel staff to ensure smooth operation and guest satisfaction
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent, with previous customer service experience
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organizational and time-management abilities
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize accordingly
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and knowledge of hotel management systems is a plus
  • Availability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays
  • Must be able to stand for long periods and lift up to 20 pounds
