As Mackinac Island’s only full-service, casually elegant resort, we are seeking an enthusiastic and service-driven Recreation Attendant to join our Guest Services team and ensure guests enjoy safe, fun, and memorable recreational experiences.

This is a full-time, seasonal position for the Summer 2026 season (April through the beginning of November).

About The Role

The Recreation Attendant plays a key role in delivering safe, enjoyable, and engaging activities for our guests. This hands-on position includes managing recreational equipment, assisting with activity setup, instructing guests, and ensuring that all recreational areas and programs meet resort standards. This position is ideal for a guest-focused professional who enjoys active work, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and takes pride in delivering memorable experiences through recreation.

• Experience:
  
  Previous hospitality, resort, recreation, or guest service experience preferred but not required
• Professional Traits:
  Friendly, energetic, reliable, detail-oriented, and committed to providing exceptional service
• Problem-Solving:
  Ability to handle guest questions and concerns with patience, empathy, and professionalism
• Communication:
  Strong verbal communication skills; comfortable interacting with guests of all ages and backgrounds
• Physical Requirements:
  
  Ability to stand and be active for extended periods, lift up to 50 lbs, and perform outdoor or recreational activities
• Location Requirement:
  Must be able to live and work on Mackinac Island during the operating season
