Employee Relations Manager

Location: Washington

We are looking for an Employee Relations Manager to support a high-volume HR environment in Washington, District of Columbia. This role will focus on guiding separation-related activities, handling employee relations matters, and ensuring accurate documentation and process execution. The ideal candidate brings strong judgment, hands-on experience with Workday, and the ability to manage sensitive situations with efficiency and professionalism.

Responsibilities:
• Manage employee separation activities from intake through completion, including calls, documentation, and coordination of required paperwork.
• Provide day-to-day employee relations support by assessing issues, recommending next steps, and helping ensure consistent application of company policies.
• Conduct and document workplace investigations, gather relevant information, and partner with HR leadership on appropriate resolutions.
• Process separation transactions accurately in Workday and maintain complete, timely records for all related actions.
• Support time-sensitive workforce changes, including voluntary separation programs and position eliminations, while maintaining confidentiality and attention to detail.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to address employee concerns, answer process-related questions, and keep cases moving in a fast-paced setting.
• Use available technology tools, including AI-enabled resources, to improve efficiency, organization, and administrative turnaround time.
• Work onsite Tuesday through Thursday to partner effectively with the HR team and support business needs.
