Job DescriptionSaab, Inc. is seeking a motivated Associate IT Support Professional to support technology operations and enhance user productivity across the organization. The successful candidate will provide hands‑on support for local operations while also contributing to enterprise‑wide IT support initiatives for employees and contractors across Saab.
Responsibilities- Providing day‑to‑day technical support to employees for workplace information and communications technology systems, including Microsoft 365 applications such as Teams, Outlook, SharePoint, One Drive, and the Office Suite.
- Installing, configuring, and troubleshooting laptops, desktops, workstations, and limited network and system issues within a heterogeneous environment.
- Maintaining data integrity and file system security, including managing permissions and access within Microsoft 365.
- Communicating highly technical information effectively to both technical and nontechnical personnel.
- Recommending and specifying appropriate hardware and software solutions, including Microsoft 365 productivity tools.
- Participating in the development of information technology and infrastructure projects.
- Conducting training programs designed to educate computer users on basic and specialized applications.
- Participating in an on‑call rotation and supporting occasional overnight travel (up to 10% per year).
$52,400 – $62,800
Required Qualifications- Associate’s degree in information technology, computer science, or a related discipline. A Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
- 2+ years of relevant professional or Co‑Op experience.
- General knowledge and experience configuring and troubleshooting Windows‑based computers in a business environment using Active Directory.
- Experience supporting Microsoft 365 applications.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Basic network knowledge, including TCP/IP, routing, and VPN concepts.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to provide excellent customer service and follow‑up.
