Salary Range: $71,000 – $110,000 depending on experience

This posting covers IT Systems Administrator opportunities with manufacturers based in and around Paw Paw in Van Buren County, within about 45 minutes of the city, including South Haven, Bangor, Coloma, and Decatur.

We partner with manufacturers across the Paw Paw area seeking IT Systems Administrators who want more than a lateral move. These companies hire intentionally, and we connect them with professionals ready for roles that fit.

• Monitor system performance and resolve outages, slowdowns, and connectivity issues.
• Manage user accounts, permissions, and access requests in directory and business systems.
• Apply security patches and antivirus updates and follow backup and recovery procedures.
• Support manufacturing systems such as ERP, MES, and shop floor data collection tools.
• Troubleshoot hardware and software problems for production and office staff.
• Document configurations, procedures, and recurring issues for the IT team.
• Coordinate with vendors on equipment repair, licensing, and support tickets.
• Maintain servers, workstations, and network equipment across plant and office sites.

• Ability to troubleshoot hardware, software, and network problems methodically.
• Strong documentation and clear verbal communication skills.
• Willingness to work occasional off-shift hours during production emergencies.
• Three or more years of hands-on IT systems administration experience.
• Working knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory, and common networking protocols.
• Experience supporting users in a plant or industrial environment.

• Relevant certifications such as CompTIA Network or Microsoft associate credentials.
• Exposure to OT network segmentation and industrial control system security.
• Experience with ERP or MES platforms used in manufacturing.
• Familiarity with virtualization platforms such as VMware or Hyper-V.
• Scripting skills in Power Shell or similar tools for automation.
