The objective of a Shipping & Receiving Clerk is to perform warehouse activities such as tracking and maintaining inventory, shipping, receiving, disbursements, identification of parts, and supplies.

• Responsible for entering information in JD Edwards software system
• Responsible for performing all clerical functions related to the performance of job duties, including responding to all e‑mail inquiries
• Demonstrate the ability to follow departmental objectives, processes and procedures
• Load, unload, and move material throughout warehouse areas
• Develop proficient use of equipment and lifting devices not limited to forklifts, lift trucks, flat bed carts, hoists, and other lifting devices
• Must be able to multi‑task and meet all deadlines as assigned
• Ability to complete all other duties as assigned

• High school diploma, GED or relevant work experience in lieu of education
• 2 years of related experience required in lieu of education. Fork Truck experience preferred. Scanning experience preferred.
• Previous warehouse experience preferred
• Must have a valid driver’s license to operate forklifts, and be forklift certified.
• Must be able to follow all safety and material management policies and maintain an organized work area
• Must be able to work well with others
• Must be able to operate barcode scanners
• Ability to work safely in a high paced environment.
• Ability to work unsupervised
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Outlook
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel
• Bilingual preferred

• Unimpaired speech, hearing, and sight (continuous)
• Strength and stamina
• Ability to routinely lift 50 lbs to chest level
• Postural changes such as sitting, reaching, climbing, standing, walking and lifting (intermittent)
• Ability to enter and exit lift trucks and other material handling vehicles multiple times per hour.
