Monday–Friday, 9 AM–5:30 PM.

The Tile Shop Distribution Center, Toledo, Ohio (Metropolitan Area).

The Tile Shop Distribution Center is hiring a Material Handler in its Receiving department. The role involves receiving, storing, and distributing materials, tools, equipment, and products while maintaining a clean, safe, and orderly work area. The candidate must be able to manually move and lift 50 lbs regularly and up to over 100 lbs, and work a scheduled shift.

• Use wireless RF device or desktop computer to perform all bar code functions, including receiving orders, printing labels, and inventory transactions.
• Load and unload trucks; process incoming freight in a timely manner.
• Inspect product to ensure quality standards.
• Accurately apply labels and record material amounts.
• Complete paperwork and maintain accurate inventory records.
• Move materials to storage or designated areas; lift, sort, and place items on racks, shelves, bins, or pallets.
• Operate equipment: sit‑down forklift, order picker, reach truck, 2‑wheeled cart, pallet jack.
• Inspect equipment, maintain good working order.
• Maintain a clean, safe, organized environment with required safety gear.
• Participate in cycle counting; work in other departments as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Forklift, reach truck, and order picker certification or willingness to obtain.
• Basic organizational, mathematical, and computer skills.
• Knowledge of proper safety measures.
• Ability to manually move and lift up to 100 lbs.
• Ability to work at varying heights and perform standing, walking, sitting, balancing, stooping, kneeling, or crouching.
