Overview

Pro Ampac, situated in Manistique, MI, is a 24/7 manufacturing facility that specializes in 100% recycled kraft paper rolls. We offer a rotating swing shift schedule that allows employees to work half the year, granting four consecutive days off and the potential to earn up to $70,000 annually for entry‑level candidates. Education/Experience

• Clear oral and written communication skills.
• Previous manufacturing experience is preferred but not required; candidates must possess the necessary skills.
• Training on multiple shift cycles will be provided in partnership with an experienced employee.

• Ability to work in multiple areas of the mill and operate machinery.
• Problem recognition and troubleshooting.

Physical Demands

• Perform physical activities requiring arm and back use, such as handling products.
• Stand or walk throughout the entire shift.
• Rapidly bend, stretch, twist, or reach with the body and arms, requiring flexibility.
• Lift up to 40 pounds.

• Act as a relief operator for the 5th hand, wrapper, and material handler positions.
• Operate an overhead crane.
• Load and adjust label printers.
• Inspect and test incoming shipments.
• Properly load conveyors and cut wires.
• Adhere to applicable regulations, policies, and procedures for health, safety, and environmental compliance.

Pay: $20.31 to $23.80 per hour with a $0.50 shift differential for night shift.
