Your future career is at Foremost Farms USA! We are seeking a Maintenance Technician at our facility in Greenville, Michigan
.

• Opening available for a PM relief shift
• Normal schedule is M-F; 7pm-3am
  • Relief position will cover weekend PTO for other maintenance technicians
• Holiday work is required on a rotating basis.

• Prior experience in the dairy and food processing equipment preferred
• Knowledge of GMP's and OSHA is highly desirable
• Tig welding or sanitary 3A welding experience is a plus
• Prior PLC experience is helpful, programming and troubleshooting
• Prior experience with boilers, cooling towers, chillers, pumps, and motors
• Mechanical ability, basic fabrication, hand tools, disassemble/assemble equipment
• Able to read and comprehend standard operating procedures
• Ability to troubleshoot electrical circuits
• Experience with single phase and three phase power helpful
• Must complete a general maintenance exam
• Participation in a team environment
• Must be detail oriented, willing to learn
• Ability to perform in a fast-paced work environment
• Must be at least 18+ years old
• Willing to use a forklift and scissor lift (training is provided)
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds with reasonable accommodations

• Installation/repair of motors, valves, and pumps
• Welding of stainless steel
• Maintenance chillers, boilers, and air compressors
• Assist with regulatory inspections
• Preventative maintenance
• Record keeping
• Electrical troubleshooting
• Pneumatics
• Instrumentation
• Basic HVAC maintenance
• Maintain other manufacturing equipment
• Other responsibilities as needed
