Full Time: 8:30 am- 5:00 pm, Monday – Friday with overtime as required

This position will be responsible for packing domestic and international orders or accessory packs, kits, and component packs.

• Pack and route all domestic & international orders for all LECO departments.
• Use knowledge of shipping procedures and rates to ship orders efficiently to customer.
• Compare quantities and identification numbers of parts against customer orders for accuracy.
• Assemble wooden and cardboard containers and skids for orders.
• Insert parts and equipment into containers in a manner that ensures safe shipment to customer.
• Pack and label hazardous materials in proper Department of Transportation containers.
• Verify the issue of parts and equipment against orders.
• Store and assist in maintaining packing supplies.
• Convert English weights and measures to metric whenever needed on international shipments.
• Provide packing supplies and expertise to all LECO departments and subsidiaries.
• Has authority to determine best shipping method for an order when not specified.
• Has authority to question the visual quality of items being packed for shipment.
• Pack accessory packs, kits, and component packs.
• Other duties assigned by the Shipping Supervisor or Group leader.

• Must be quality-oriented.
• Neatness and orderliness and good with numbers.
• Lift truck license.

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
